Warning for Speakers and Exhibitors

It has come to our notice that a certain “Housing Agency” has contacted a number of our FEBS speaker and clients who are supporting the 40th FEBS congress – The Biochemical Basis of Life in Berlin, citing to be the official housing partner of the event and offering hotel reservation services.

Please note that this company does not represent the FEBS, the GBM or MCI as our official congress organizer, furthermore they are not authorised to use any contact data of our partners. We also want to reassure that neither the FEBS nor the GBM or MCI communicates our clients contact database to third parties.

If you are being contacted by Housing Agencies by phone or emails using FEBS’s name and offering hotel reservation services, we urge speaker, exhibitor and FEBS 2015 attendees to proceed with extreme caution before signing anything sent by Exhibition Housing Agencies or entering into any conversation with the mentioned agencies or replying to any emails received.

Method of Payment

All nights will be charged upon registration. All further nights as well as extras have to be paid directly at the hotel upon check-out. The following credit cards are accepted: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. If the desired hotel is already fully booked, MCI Deutschland GmbH reserves the right to arrange accommodation in another hotel.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or changes should be received in writing to MCI Deutschland GmbH by e-mail or fax. In case of changes a handling fee (€ 30.–) applies. Please do not contact the hotel directly.

Cancellation of room/nights received until March 13, 2015 (Estrel and Park Hotel Blub December 16, 2014):

• Refund deducting a € 40 cancellation fee

Cancellation of room/nights received from March 14 until March 29, 2015 (Estrel and Park Hotel Blub December 17 until March 2, 2015):

• Cancellation of one night: no refund
• Cancellation of two or more nights: 50% refund of booked nights

Cancellation of room/nights received after March 30, 2015 (Estrel and Park Hotel Blub March 3, 2015) or no-show:

• No refund
